The Solar Game Has Changed To Where It Should Always Have Been

Welcome to the DesertClean Energy Blogosphere (is that even a word?)! It is rather fitting that the first blog post be about what we believe is the cornerstone of DesertClean Energy and our relationships with our customers. It’s about education first and foremost for what solar products can do for you and your family and how each option can save your family money. Additionally, its about ensuring we put all options on the table for each homeowner and explain the pros and cons of each. The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), recently published a Homeowners Solar Guide and it is now mandatory for those living in SCE, SDGE, and PGE service areas (investor owned utilities) that each homeowner reviews and signs this document BEFORE signing any contract. The link is posted below and I encourage everyone to read the guide if you think you may want to go solar for your electrical power in the future.
