“Every once in a while you come across someone starting a new business that you know is in it for all the right reasons. This was the sentiment we had with Dave from Desert Clean Energy. My husband and I, are part timers spending our winters in Palm Springs. We literally had been home for 30 seconds after having been gone for six months, when we heard a knock on our door, It was some guy wanting to talk to us about clean energy. I overcame my near the surface frustration due to travel fatigue and instead of closing the door on him. I put on my midwestern nice, smiled and set up an appointment for later next week.

The new equipment was installed in a way that was hidden and didn’t look out of place on our new home. They color matched and painted all of the new exterior conduit. Dave was on site every day during installation. Something I noticed that I don’t see very often any longer, Dave treated the installers with respect but demanded the absolute best from them. I believe this to be the reason when we were told by the manufacturer that our battery and solar panels were on back order and going to be several weeks late. Dave advocated for us and was able to negotiate with the manufacturer a larger battery, and larger capacity solar panels at no additional cost. Both were delivered and installed by the date promised. ”
